Lesson description will be added soon
METHODFORMULA_FOR_EGFR_DERIVATIONVARIABLE_LABEL
CKD-EPI eGFR = 141 * min(SCr/k,1)**a * max(SCr/k,1)**-1.209 * 0.993**Age * [1.018 if female] * [1.159 if black]
Where:
- SCr = serum creatinine (mg/dL; to convert from umol/L to mg/dL, multiply the umol/L value by 0.0113)
- k = 0.7 for females and 0.9 for males
- a = -0.329 for females and -0.411 for males
- min = the minimum of SCr/k or 1
- max = the maximum of SCr/k or 1
MDRD eGFR mL/min/1.73m2=a * SCr**-1.154 * age**-0.203 * [1.210if black] * [0.742if female]
Where:
- SCr = serum creatinine (mg/dL; to convert from umol/L to mg/dL, multiply the umol/L value by 0.0113)
- a = 186 if scr_unit="mg/dL", 32788 if scr_unit="umol/L"
Based on Cystatin C eGFR =133 * (PCysC/0.8)**a * 0.996**Age * (0.932 if female)
Where:
- PCysC = Plasma Cystatin C in mg/L
- a = -0.499 if PCysC <= 0.8 mg/L, -1.328 if PCysC > 0.8 mg/L
